He was predeceased by: his parents, John Arthur and Judith Marie Visser (Koerselman). He is survived by: his wife Jeanne Marie Michels of Hull; his sons, Evan (Tamyres Visser), Mark (Ellie Visser) and Jeff (Darriane); his grandchildren, Noah and Maya Visser; his siblings, Robert (Karen Visser), Larry (Pam Visser), Laura (Jody Gravedoni), Jeanne and Jim Michels; and also, Mike Michels (Grace) of Des Moines, Karen (Bob Kazel) of Osage, Barb (Lee Kazma) of Des Moines, Nancy (Nick Dreliozis) of Muskegon, Michigan, Lori (Dan Huntley) of Dallas, Texas, Steve Michels of Paris, Tennessee, Julie (Ray Avila) of New Haven, Rick Michels of Dallas, Texas and Paul Michels (Jane) of Ogden, Utah. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Memorials will be given to First Reformed Church Missions and Outreach.
