It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jacoba C. Rens of Hull, Iowa, who passed away on March 31, 2021, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her spouse Albertus "Albert" John Rens; her stepmother Jennie Koel; and her brothers, C. Delphus Koel of Madison, SD and Donald Koel (Marjorie) of Denver, CO. She is survived by: her children, Hattie Koel (Kuhl), LaVonne (Larry Sietstra), Gwendolyn, Harlan (Sandy Rens), Gerald (Kate Rens), Leon (Charlotte Rens), Eleanor (Rick Kiers), Greg (Jessica Rens) and Gwen (Hal Congdon); her grandchildren, Lorayne Middendorp (Matt), Luke Sietstra (Amy), Link Sietstra, Ben Congdon, Jennifer Congdon, Tricia Mandery (Chad), Dana Schmidt, Andrew Rens (Shelli), Nick Rens (Bethany), Jeffery Rens (Courtney), Marcus Rens, Cody Kiers (Shelby), Kelly Sipma (Brian), Brittany Holtrop (Jordan), Heather Hofmeyer (Thomas), Emalee Rens, Baily Kramer, Lucas Kramer and Logan Kramer; her brother Derrick (Sally Koel) of Sioux Center; and her siblings-in-law, Lorna Koel of Madison, SD, Evelyn "Evie" Rens of Hills, MN and Delmar (Mae Rens) of Sun Valley, CA. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and other extended family.
