Howard D Smit Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Howard D Smit of Hull, Iowa, who passed away on January 30, 2025, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact Howard had on those he encountered along his journey. Though Howard may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, his essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.

Visitation was held on Sunday, February 2nd 2025 from 3:30 PM to 5:30 PM at the American Reformed Church - Hull (911 2nd St, Hull, IA 51239). A funeral service was held on Monday, February 3rd 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.

Memorials will be given to Inspiration Hills Camp and Retreat Center near Inwood.
