Gerald Bonestroo Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gerald Bonestroo (Hull, Iowa), who passed away on September 14, 2019 at the age of 92. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Gerald Bonestroo to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Egbert Bonestroo and Wilhelmina Bonestroo (Korthals); his wife Gertrude Swier; his son Kenneth Bonestroo; and his brothers, Egbert Bonestroo, Henry Bonestroo, Benjamin Bonestroo, Fred Bonestroo, Edward Bonestroo, Alvin Bonestroo, Leonard Bonestroo and Thomas Bonestroo.

He is survived by: his children, Erwin Bonestroo (Janet), Ronald Bonestroo, Janice (Lyle Van Voorst) and Douglas Bonestroo (Judith); and his sister Albertha Rozeboom. He is also survived by fifteen grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren.

Memorials may be directed to the Wegman-Koele American Legion Post or the First Reformed Church building fund.
