With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Florence E. Horstman of Hull, Iowa, born in Doon, Iowa, who passed away on August 7, 2023 at the age of 75. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Florence E. Horstman to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Bert Maanen and Bernice Van Maanen (Hoekstra); and also, Gerrit, Angeline Horstman, Marion Hostman (Agnes), Gerald Horstman (Evie), Irv Horstman, Keith Horstman and Ed Visser.
She is survived by: her husband Gary Leon Horstman of Sioux Center; her children, Curtis and Robbyn Horstman of West Plains; her grandchildren, Abbigail, Sara and Benjamin; her children, Candace and Scott Van Egdom of Sioux Falls; her grandchildren, Keegan, Kylee, Katie and Kade; her child Ryan Mulder of Sioux Falls; her grandchildren, Dawson, Gavin, Britton and Rowan; her children, Cody and Carmen Horstman of Mesa; her grandchildren, Treyten, Hunter, Emiah, Brysen and Ainsley; her siblings, Marjean, Brenda (Alvin Bylsma), Alvina (Marlyn Hofman), Carol (Marv Anema), Jan (Wayne Vander Maten) and Evert (Kathy Van Maanen); and her siblings-in-law, Gertie Visser, Ann Horstman, Gene, June Horstman, Del, Marla Horstman, Virg, Joan Horstman, Nels, Gloria Horstman, Bob and Glenda Horstman. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Memorials will be given to the Hull Christian School and Western Christian High School.
