She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Vlieger and Alice Vlieger (Ruisch); her husband Wilfred H. Vande Burgt; her son-in-law Jerry Wielenga; her granddaughter Naomi Sheldahl; and her siblings, Jeanette Vlieger, Laura Pluim Korver, Margaret Hop, William Vlieger, James Vlieger, Harold Vlieger and John Vlieger.
She is survived by: her children, Evonne Wielenga of Maurice, Jerry Vande Burgt (Margie) of Salem, Oregon, Beverly (LaVerne Sheldahl) of Hull, Donna (Craig Faber) of Rock Valley and Harv Vande Burgt (Marlene) of Salem. She is also survived by nineteen grandchildren; and 36 great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be directed to the Western Christian High School in Hull, or the Hull Christian School.
