With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Dwight L. Bakker of Hull, Iowa, born in Wellsburg, Iowa, who passed away on September 9, 2023 at the age of 77. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Lee Bakker and Lois Bakker (Aukes); his stepmother Thelma Bakker; his parents-in-law, John and Grace Dyk; and his sister-in-law Connie Dyk.
He is survived by: his wife Jan Bakker of Hull; his children, Jill (Ben Christoffels) of Okoboji and Nathan (Chanda Bakker) of Hull; his grandchildren, Danielle, Lauren, Alexa Christoffels, Kyra, Japen and Jasmine Bakker; his brothers, Randy (Donna Bakker), Mark (Teresa Bakker), Jon (Corinne Bakker) and John (Darla Oostendorp); and his brothers-in-law, Eldon Dyk of Aurora, Colorado and Bob Dyk (Marli) of Spokane, Washington..
Memorials will be given to the Western Christian High School in Hull.
