He was predeceased by: his parents, Peter Kroese and Cynthia Anneta Kroese (Te Slaa); his parents-in-law, Gerrit and Winnie Grevengoed; his sisters, Freda Kroese (Harry Klay) and Hilda (Tom De Jong); and his brother-in-law John Grevengoed.
He is survived by: his wife Darlene Carol Grevengoed; his children, Dennis Kroese of Hull, Larry Kroese (Faye) of Doon, Doug Kroese (Deb) of Camdenton, Missouri, Paul Kroese (Dawn) of Orange City and Sandy (Scott Guy); his grandchildren, Jared Kroese (Andrea), Luke Kroese (Breanna), Joe Kroese (Becca), Justin Kroese (Kayla), Ashley Howry (Travis), Bekka Herpeche (Blake), Kaitlin Kroese, Tim Kroese (Audrey), Tyler Kroese (Sabrina), Jesse Kroese (Jenni), Megan Ohrlund (Kevin), Keaton Alons (Gabby), Justin Guy (Nicole) and Tyler Guy; his sister-in-law Wilmina Grevengoed of Hull; and also, Howard, Marilyn Grevengoed of Hull, Alvin and Eileen Grevengoed of Clever, Missouri.. He is also survived by eighteen great-grandchildren; a brother.
