With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Margaret Andersen Brandhorst (Hudson, Iowa), who passed away on November 4, 2018 at the age of 96. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Chris Andersen and Jenny Andersen (Larsen); her son David Brandhorst; her brother Elmer Andersen; and her granddaughter Christine Blaine.
She is survived by: her children, Gary Brandhorst of Hudson and Connie J. Wasendorf of Apple Tree, Florida; her grandchildren, Jennifer Brandhorst of Cedar Rapids, Luke Brandhorst (Christina) of Adel, Rus Wasendorf Jr. (Amber) of Orlando and Chad Brandhorst (Janell) of Ankeny; and her sister Helen Pipho (Merle) of Tempe.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Covenant Cancer Center and to Zion Lutheran Cemetery Fund.
