He is survived by: his wife Cynthia; his daughter Rachel Digmann; his grandson Tyler of Waverly; his daughter Alayna Zelle; his grandson Clark of Cedar Falls; his mother Verona Zelle of Waverly; and his siblings, Jennifer Wipperman of Waverly, Nathan (Mae Jean) of Mt. Horeb, WI and Nadine Zelle (Jon Schmidt) of Chicago, IL. He is also survived by seven nieces and nephews, and five grandnieces and grandnephews.
