With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Kathleen Holmes of Hudson, Iowa, born in Waterloo, Iowa, who passed away on October 11, 2023 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernest Wason and Ilda Rigdon Wason; and her siblings, Craig, Bob Wason and Rita Roederer.
She is survived by: her husband Cecil Holmes of Hudson; and her children, Jim Holmes (Leayn) of Hudson, John "Jay" Holmes (Stacie) of Hudson, Carol Holmes of Hudson, Karen Bahit (Frank) of Hudson and Marianne Tiffany (James) of Chetek, WI. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; 5 great-great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions should be directed to the Hudson Public Library.
