He was predeceased by: his former wife Helen Dunham; his wife Vivian Hulme; his grandson Corey Claussen; his siblings, Merle Claussen and Annabelle Ward; his stepchildren, Terry Lorenz and Janice VanHauen; and his son-in-law Albert Parham.

He is survived by: his children, Clay Claussen (Vicki), Cheryl Neil (Roland), Susan Parham and Michael Claussen (Jody); and his stepson Gary Lorenz. He is also survived by 24 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great-grandchildren.

Memorials may be directed to the family.
