Sothman (Hudson, Iowa), born in Cumberland, Iowa, who passed away on August 14, 2021, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Ida Louella (Read) and William C. Roberts; her spouse Clair Franklin Sothman; her grandsons, Levi Sothman and Dale Kompik Jr.; and her great grandchild Elaine Sothman.

She is survived by: her children, Deborah Brass (James) of Hudson, Barbara Kompik Sr. (Dale) of Pentwater, MI, Carol Sothman of Villisca, Daniel Sothman (Diane) of San Angelo, TX and Kevin Sothman (Kathy) of Cumberland. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren and 28 great grandchildren.
