He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Witry and Grace Witry (Simons). He is survived by: his wife Charlotte O'Connor of Washburn; his children, Craig Witry (Sheree) of Delhi, Sharon Cory (Jeff) of Hudson and Karen Arends (Ron) of Cedar Falls; and his grandchildren, Shawna Walton (Tony Oldenburger) of Waterloo, Blake Cory (Kaylen) of Verona, Dan Arends (Hilary Schmidt) of Cedar Falls, Amanda Arends of Portland, Brad Harken (Breanne) and Kristi Dennis (Jesse) of Washburn. He is also survived by 10 great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be directed to Cedar Valley Hospice or St. Mary's of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church, Eagle Center.
