With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Claude E. Brown Sr. (Hudson, Iowa), born in Marshalltown, Iowa, who passed away on August 27, 2019. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Brown and Pearl Brown (Kellehan); his foster parents, Frank Ward and Mimi Ward; and his siblings, Doris, Ethel, Hubert, Imogene, Daphine, Elroy, Harold, Mary Jane and Benjamin.

He is survived by: his wife Iona Borton; his children, Claude "CJ" Brown Jr. of Hudson, Lori Christopherson (Elton) of Williston, Kevin Brown (Jeanette) of Flower Mound and Derek Brown (Carrie) of Hudson; his grandchildren, Ricky Neiheiser, Amanda Neiheiser, Austin Neiheiser, Susan Brown, Haley Easthom, Danielle Brown, Delani Brown, Nick Brown, Ellie Brown and Sofia Brown; and his great grandchildren, Vanessa Trotter and David Martin.

In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made to Cedar Valley Hospice in memory of Claude Brown.
