He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Albert H. Herzberg and Ida M. Herzberg (Sunderman); his wife Nelda Fritz; his brother Abe; his children, Myron Herzberg (Kim), Cheryl Harris (Paul) and Gary Herzberg (Alison); his siblings, Bernard Herzberg and Bertha Jensen of Creston; and his grandchildren, Max, Lydia Herzberg, Daniel, Caleb, Adam Harris, Rebekah Theiss and Sara Meier. He was also cherished by 14 great grandchildren.
Walt Herzberg, of Hubbard, formerly of Creston, went home to Jesus on October 1, 2020 at age 93 from complications of Parkinson's Disease and COVID-19 at the Hubbard Care Center.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are kindly suggested to the Lutheran World Relief- COVID or Trinity Lutheran Church in Creston, in Walt's name.
