It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Sana Kay Zierke (Hubbard, Iowa), born in Omaha, Nebraska, who passed away on August 13, 2020, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Ira Edward Larson and Clara Judith Larson (Teig); and her brothers, Carl and Edward "Ed". She is survived by: her friend Pam Kulow (Conway); her husband Arlen "Doc" Zierke; her sons, Eric (Trish) of Hubbard, Borge (Shawn) of Homestead, IA and David (Mel) of Iowa City; her siblings, David Larson (Elaine) of Hubbard and Sallie Harestad (Robert) of Roland, IA; her sister-in-law Shirley Larson of Blacksburg, VA; and her grandchildren, Bailey Spencer of Columbus Junction, IA, Alex Zierke of Charleston, SC, Rachel Zierke of Cedar Rapids, IA, Susana Zierke, Mounty Mercy and James Zierke. She is also survived by cousins, nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to the family for a memorial fund to be established for local charities.
