She was predeceased by: her parents, Helen Bischof and Harry Bischof; her sisters, Rita Bischof and Barbara Sand; her brother-in-law Bernard Sand; her brother Larry Bischof; her sister-in-law Pat Bischof; her brother Phillip Bischof; and her son-in-law Jim Oster.

She is survived by: her husband Herbert Gude; her children, Anne Pelc (Dan), Steve Gude (Mona), Mike Gude, Pat Gude, Susan Hoglund (Tim), Theresa Gude, Chris Gude (Jane), Jim Gude (Linda), Jane McClellan (Mark) and Angela Rider (Paul); her sister-in-law Elaine Bischof; her brother Tom Bischof; her sister-in-law Joan Bischof; her grandchildren, Andrew Pelc (Ashley), Gregory Pelc (Elizabeth Golembiewski), Matthew Pelc, Sarah Gude (Clayton Smith), Shawn Gude, Luke Gude (Sydney Johnson), Grant Hoglund (Maria), Jared Hoglund, Graham Hoglund, Christina Hoglund, Nolan Oster (Nicole), Rosa Gude, Madeline Gude, David McClellan, Aaron McClellan, Kristin McClellan, Nathan Rider and Nicholas Rider; and her great grandchildren, Audrey Pelc, Noah Pelc and Henry Pelc. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Significant contributors to her death were COVID-19 and dementia. Due to COVID-19, a family-only viewing will be held at this time.

The family requests no flowers and instead encourages donations to one of the following organizations that reflected her values: St. Mark's Catholic Church, Iowa Falls Church Women United Thrift Store, and Friends of the Barlow Library.
