He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence Klein and Margaret Klein (Steichen); his daughter Jill Watters; his brother Albert Klein; and his in-laws, George and Lois Sharon.
He is survived by: his wife Doris Sharon of Rock Rapids; his children, Becky Myers of Estherville, Iowa, Dana Klein of Hospers, Iowa, Mark Klein (Brittany) of Hospers and Travis Klein of Orange City, Iowa; his son-in-law Ryan Watters of Ashton, Iowa; and his siblings, Janice Klein of Hospers, Iowa, Marlene Martiniere of North Carolina, Eileen Klein of Marshall, Minnesota, Roger Klein of Sioux Center and Lyle Klein of Oklahoma. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren.
