It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Melvin L. Kruizenga (Hospers, Iowa), born in Sioux Center, Iowa, who passed away on February 18, 2020, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Kruizenga and Winnie Kruizenga (Bonnema); his daughter Penney Rodesta; his son-in-law Michael Mello; and his siblings, Pete, Paul, John, Ben, Glenn Kruizenga, Lorraine Kruizenga, Dena Van Ravenswaay, Kate Kosters, Alice Dolieslager, Esther Schoeneveld, Mary Wiarda and Winnie Coulander.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Jo Jones (Huygens); his children, Pam Mello of Artesia, California and Mark (Julie Kruizenga) of Downey, California; and his stepson Larry (Rhonda Anderson) of Hospers. He is also survived by six grandchildren; four step-grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; twelve step-great-grandchildren.
