It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Marlene K. Woudstra of Hospers, Iowa, who passed away on June 9, 2022, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Jake Elgersma and Nellie Elgersma (Zonnefeld); her former husband Irwin Wendell Woudstra; her siblings, Janice (Jim Van Engen), Frances Jacobsen and Pierson Elgersma; her siblings-in-law, Lloyd (Trudy Woudstra) and Gwen (Bernie Bousema); and also, Isaac and Willemina Woudstra.
She is survived by: her children, Cindy (Gene Vander Griend), Kris (Kevin Kooistra) and Jay (Dawn Woudstra); her grandson Brent Vander Griend (Tracy); her husband Nathan Vander Griend (Erin); her great grandchildren, Taylor, Bailey, Paityn, Griffin, Evie, Indie, Lettie Vander Griend, Ike, Bentley, Tatum and Raelle Kooistra; her brother Jack (Carol Elgersma); and her siblings-in-law, Betty Elgersma and Rudy Jacobsen. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Memorials will be given to the First Christian Reformed Church in Hospers.
