She was predeceased by: her parents, Wiebren "Weep" and Adrianna "Alice" Visser (Burgers); her husband Edward Andrew Miedema; her siblings, Nellie Waswick (Archie), Henrietta Roetman (John), Winnie Visser, Anton Visser (Shirley), Walt Visser (Marie), Wilhelmina Wickre (Hjalmer), Audrey Wold (Joe) and Arlene Hardy (Charles); and her siblings-in-law, Berdena Roos (Kenneth), Henry Miedema and Robert Miedema.
She is survived by: her children, Sheryl (John Slegers), Larry (Karen Miedema), Edward Jay (Marnee Miedema), Vicki (Tim Lammers) and Tami (Jason Johnson); her grandchildren, Sarah Slegers, Joseph Slegers (Ashley), James Slegers, Anna Vruwink (Nate), Stephanie Den Herder (Kyle), Nathan Miedema (Becky), David Miedema, Mark Miedema, Zachary Miedema (Madison), Tanner Miedema, Justin Lammers (Katie), Mariah Schilling (Casey), Philip Lammers, Jacob Johnson (Karissa De Jong), Jessica Johnson, Jackson Johnson and Jenner Johnson; her great grandchildren, Taya, Jayden, Bennett, Alex, Saylor and Tucker; her sisters, Bernice Wrage of Dell Rapids and Ethel Vander Vliet (Gerald) of Colton; and her siblings-in-law, Andrew Miedema (Joan) of Orange City, Nelvin Miedema (Sharol) of Sheldon, Sharlene Miedema of Edgerton, Minnesota and Mary Miedema of Hull.
