It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Leland T. Woudstra of Hospers, Iowa, who passed away on March 3, 2022, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Theodore Woudstra and Dora Woudstra (Zylstra); his brother Theodore, Jr.; and his siblings-in-law, Dorothy (Norman Klynsma), Allen Vander Veen, Carlos Valencia and Robert Muilenburg.
He is survived by: his wife Mary of Hospers; his children, Alan, Sandra Woudstra of Hospers, Jeanne of Alton, Phillip Kleinhesselink of Alton, Brenda of Alton, Ward Van Peursem of Alton, Dale and Tonia Woudstra of Sioux Center; his grandchildren, Tyler Woudstra (April), Amanda Woudstra, Cody Kleinhesselink (Sara), Logan Kleinhesselink (Danielle), Kelsey (Brent Koops), Levi Van Peursem, Zachary Woudstra and Hannah Woudstra; his sister Donna Vander Veen of Sanborn; and his siblings-in-law, Sye (Ruth Roghair) of Orange City, Caroline Valencia of Visalia, California, Sylvia Bellonger of Sioux Falls and Wilma "Billie" Muilenburg of Hospers. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Memorials will be given to local Christian education.
