It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jeanette Roetman of Hospers, Iowa, who passed away on June 27, 2023, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Jeanette Roetman to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Tunis Vollink and Minnie Vollink (Van Schepen); her spouse Lammert John Roetman; her siblings, Herman Vollink (Wilmina), Fred Vollink (Hattie), Gilbert Vollink (Margaret), Dorothy Vander Bilt (Art), Cynthia (Hank), Balt Roskamp (Cort), Alma (Ivan) and Visser Andringa (Marion); and her siblings-in-law, Katherine Muilenburg (Ivan), Bernard Roetman, Howard Roetman and Benjamin Roetman.
She is survived by: her children, Sharon (Dennis Den Hartog) of Orange City, Carla (Wolf Dittmer) of Ada, Michigan, Barb (Keith Huizenga) of Fremont, Nebraska, Ruth Roetman of Orange City and Jon Roetman of Alton; her granddaughter Jennie (Derek Terpstra); her children, Julie (Jason Tinklenberg), Jamie Den Hartog (Alisa), Kelly (Brandon Van Marel), Jonathan Van Hofwegen (Laura), Brett Huizenga (Amanda), Michael Van Hofwegen, Brooke (John Estes), AJ Roetman and Kira Roetman; and her sister-in-law Alyda Roetman. She is also survived by 25 great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.
Memorials will be given to Village Northwest Unlimited in Sheldon and Unity Christian High School in Orange City.
