David L. Raak Obituary
We are sad to announce that on April 13, 2021, at the age of 77, David L. Raak of Hospers, Iowa, born in Orange City, Iowa passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Gerard and Leona Mae Raak (Boersma); his stepmother Emogene Raak; his parents-in-law, Agnes and Ken Cornelius; his grandson Bennett David James Raak; and his brother-in-law Richard Gumto.
He is survived by: his wife Arlene Pearl Cornelius of Hospers; his daughter Ruth (Matthew Kuster); his grandchild Jordan of Mankato, Minnesota; his children, Rachel Raak and Paul (Sara Raak); his grandson Oliver; his sisters, Sharon Gumto of Chandler, Arizona and Joan (Galen Haack) of Hospers; his stepsister Laura (Thomas Wakefield) of Spencer; and also, Colin Ross, Carson of Correctionville, Addison of Correctionville and Emerson Law of Correctionville. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
