He is survived by: his wife Marlene Ney of Hospers; his children, Ryan Pottebaum (Ronda) of Orange City, IA, Jill Verduin (Josh Vermeer) of Alton, IA and Gina Spiller (Eric) of Belton, MO; his siblings, Ivan Pottebaum (Clare) of Granville, IA, Ike Pottebaum (Carol) of Le Mars, IA, Mary Ann Walker (Art) of Florida and Orville Pottebaum (Mary Ann) of Alton, IA; his mother-in-law Doralice Ney of Granville, IA; and his siblings-in-law, Doris Pottebaum of Alton, IA, Jan Strouth of Orange City, IA, Carol Jean Vortherms (Tom) of Sioux City, IA and Steve Ney (Julie) of Primghar, IA. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren, many nieces & nephews.
