Alvin S. Stuit Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Alvin S. Stuit of Hospers, Iowa, born in Orange City, Iowa, who passed away on April 2, 2022 at the age of 77. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Alvin S. Stuit to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Stuit and Martha Stuit (Pott); his brother-in-law Junior Poppema; and also, Wesley, Johanna Hofmeyer, Robert, Jolene Hofmeyer, Wallace (Dean), Alma Hofmeyer, Arvin Hofmeyer, Jan Hofmeyer and Joann Hofmeyer.
He is survived by: his wife Julie Ann Hofmeyer; his children, Jolynn (Scott Van De Berg), Arla (Cory Van Sloten), Brent (Barb Stuit) and Rachel (Matt Olson); his granddaughter Sarah (Chris Van Beek); and his sisters, Janice Poppema and Sandi Stuit. He is also survived by five great-grandchildren.
Memorials will be given to ATLAS of Orange City and Orange City Area Home Health and Hospice.
