Shirley Kay Davis Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Shirley Kay Davis of Hornick, Iowa, born in Washington, Iowa, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 23, 2024 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Glenn Wilson and LaVerl Wilson (Davidson); her siblings, Ronnie Wilson and Lorna Horstmann; her daughter Bobbi Wright; and her grandson Ryan Calhoun.
She is survived by: her husband Orvil Dean Davis of Hornick, Iowa; her children, Randy Hunt (Beck) of Hornick, Ronnie Hunt (Barb) of Sergeant Bluff, Iowa and Michelle Hart (Chris) of Danbury, Iowa; and her brother-in-law Jerry Horstmann of Pleasantville, Iowa.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 2nd 2024 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Goslar Funeral Home Chapel (1629 10th St, Onawa, IA 51040). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, November 2nd 2024 at 5:30 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, November 23rd 2024 at 3:00 PM at the Pleasantville Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials in Shirley's memory may be directed to the family for future designation.
