With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Marian Gallagher of Hornick, Iowa, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Marian left this world on February 5, 2025 at the age of 90, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Oliver Weber and Cora Weber (Fredrickson); her husband Junior Gallagher; and her siblings, Ed Weber (Marietta) and Betty Ritchie (Darrell).
She is survived by: her children, Don Gallagher of Sloan, Darlene Mowry (Greg) of Burnsville and Dennis Gallagher (Lori) of Holly Springs, Iowa; her grandchildren, Matthew Mowry (Nicole) of Lakeville, Lori Pfannenstein of Oak Grove, Nathan Mowry (Kaitie) of Lausanne, Johnathan Gallagher (Koriene) of Sioux Center, Michael Gallagher (Maria) of Holly Springs and Christy Ritter (Steven) of Casper, Wyoming; her great grandchildren, Callie Pfannenstein, Brianna Pfannenstein, Haley Mowry, Mattalyn Mowry, Kaida Gallagher, Aaron Gallagher, Audrey Gallagher, Zayne Gallagher and Saylor Gallagher; her siblings, Deloras Keck (Leo) of Kingsley, Iowa and Roland Weber (Cindy) of Springdale, Arkansas; and her brother-in-law Richard Gallagher (Linda) of Manhattan, Kansas. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Southern Hills Baptist Church (4301 Old Lakeport Rd, Sioux City, IA 51106). A prayer was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials in Marian's memory may be given to the family and made payable to Child Evangelism Fellowship or Southeran Hills Baptist Church.
