It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joan Ione Beckstrom of Hornick, Iowa, born in Audubon, Iowa, who passed away on November 30, 2021, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Schwab and Alice Schwab (Anderson); her husband Gerald Beckstrom; and her brothers, Gerald and Jimmy.
She is survived by: her children, Donald Beckstrom (Kathy) of Carroll, IA, Ronald Beckstrom (Shelly) of Pierson, IA and Marilyn Kahman (Larry) of Sioux City, IA; and her sister Joyce Schwab of Onawa, IA.. She is also survived by 16 grandchildren; 39 great grandchildren; 11 great-great grandchildren.
