It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Russell Johnson of Hopkinton, Iowa, born in Saint Charles, Illinois, who passed away on September 10, 2021, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Willis Johnson and Willa Mae Johnson (Loop); and his brother Carl Johnson. He is survived by: his children, Ann Smith (Bryan) of Marion and Jeff Johnson (Shelly) of Carlisle, IA; and his grandchildren, Breanna, Brennan Smith, Evan and Alex Johnson.
