We are sad to announce that on July 21, 2021 we had to say goodbye to Marilyn Joan Kirkwood of Hopkinton, Iowa. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Maurice; her sister Charlotte; and her parents, Roy Marolf and Angie Marolf. She is survived by: her son Bob Kirkwood (Linda) of Hopkinton; her granddaughters, Kathy Salow (Brent) of Hopkinton and Kelly Schulte (Chris) of Norway; and her great grandchildren, Holly Nefzger (Jake) of Cedar Rapids, Riley Kay Sternhagen of Des Moines, Megan of Norway, Morgan of Norway and Cameron Schulte of Norway.
In lieu of the increasing COVID-19 numbers, the family requests that ALL visitors, vaccinated or not, wear masks for the visitation and the funeral.
The Family suggests that in lieu of flowers, memorials be made to the Hopkinton Fire Department or the Hopkinton Ambulance Service.
