He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Andersen and Fern Andersen (Price); his siblings, Leo Andersen and Jeanne; his brothers-in-law, Gene Carson and Robert Perrin; his in-laws, Jerome and Betty Halvorson; his nephew Nicholas Aberle; his niece Desiree Abel; and his great grandchildren, Crue John and Bentley Dean Atkinson.
He is survived by: his wife Coleen Hopkins; his daughters, Melissa Atkinson (Brian) and Tina Sharlow (Daren); his grandchildren, Ashley Skretta (Jon), Garrett Atkinson (Morgan), Jessica Ziegler (Justin), Abigail Sharlow and Branden Sharlow; his children, Lillian (Quinn Skretta), Kaitlyn and Luke (Natalie Zeigler); his sister Wilma Perrin; his sister-in-law Sheri Andersen; and his in-laws, John Hopkins (Maureen), Eugene Halvorson (Cindy), Barbara Novitske (Joel), Jerry Halvorson (Tracy), Brian Halvorson (Tammy), Nancy Krull and Lisa Makely.
