She was predeceased by: her parents, Howard Kurth and Mary Cole Kurth; her husband Bill; her children, Dennis Boyles and Debbie Sue Torres; her grandson Phillip Smock; her great grandchild William Scott Kersey; and her siblings, Carolyn Krob, Howard, Bob, Albert and Carl Kurth.
She is survived by: her children, Karen Bennett (Bill) of El Paso, TX, David Boyles (Janet) of Hopkinton, IA, Rick Boyles of Cedar Rapids, IA and Karla Thilges (David) of Fairfax, IA; her son-in-law Julian Torres of Westminster, MD; her grandchildren, Lindsay, Justin (Heather), Lindsey Boyles of Cedar Rapids, IA, Ryan Boyles (Kelsey) of Clarksville, IA, David A. Boyles of Hopkinton, IA, John Torres of Westminster, MD, Cassie Kersey of Westminster, MD and Bryce Thilges of Fairfax, IA; and her siblings, Paul Kurth (Linda), Kenneth Kurth (Glenda), Jim Kurth (Laurel), Michael Kurth (Dawn), Ernest Kurth and Kathryn Hankemeier. She is also survived by 11 Great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, April 5th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Hopkinton Community Church (107 3rd St, Hopkinton, IA 52237). A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 5th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
