With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Diane Marie (Meyer) Kohlstedt McGregor Iowa in Holy Cross, Iowa, who passed away on August 2, 2020 at the age of 67. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Cletus Meyer and Marie Meyer (Cook); her parents-in-law, Elmer and Florence Kohlstedt (Mumm); and her niece Dawn Meyer.
She is survived by: her husband John Kohlstedt; her children, Tom Kohlstedt (Jill) of Lacrosse, WI and Amy Turgasen (Jeremy) of Altoona, IA; her grandchildren, Cole, Evan Turgasen, Lucy and Violet Kohlstedt; her siblings, James Sr. Meyer (Sandy) of Guttenberg, IA, Gerald Meyer (Norma) of Dubuque, IA, Judy Vorwald (Fred) of Manchester, IA and Laura Haas (Al) of Dyersville, IA; and her siblings-in-law, Steve Kohlstedt (Geralyn) of Richland Center, WI, Russell Kohlstedt (Sandra) of St. Anthony, MN, Mike Kohlstedt (Sharon) of Byron, IL, Jeff Kohlstedt (Pam) of Monroe, WI and Kathy Kohlstedt Schroeder. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and relatives.
Due to COVID-19 concerns, a Private Funeral Mass and Burial will be held for the family.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorials be given to the McGregor Splash Pad Fund in care of the City of McGregor, the Clayton County Food Shelf in St. Olaf, Iowa or the charity of your choice in honor of Diane.
