He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Greve and Anna Greve (Jaeger); his former wife Darlene Adams; his daughter Donna Ennis (Phillip); his siblings, Mardell Meisner (Larry), Ilene Powell (Dick), Elmer Greve (Rose), Junior Greve, Edward Greve (Marlene), Robert Greve (Vera) and Lavern Greve; and his in-laws, Sarge Baker, Walter Reinhardt, Doug Mason, Marjorie Martens (Ernie), Dale Adams (Lorraine), Pearl Bailey, Merlin Bailey (Tyke) and Chuck Hines.

He is survived by: his wife Judith Greve (Bailey) of Holy Cross; his children, Christine Cornell (Larry) of Bankston, Denny Greve (Sherry) of Dubuque, Jean Theis (Mark) of Ossian, Judy Millius (Rob) of Dubuque and Allan Greve of Holy Cross; his sisters, Rose Baker of Dubuque, Anna Reinhardt of Guttenberg and Sharon Boge (Bill) of Dubuque; his in-laws, Norma Greve, Betty Greve, Cheryl Mason, Roger Bailey and Carol Hines; and also Robin Childress (Diana) of Coralville. He is also survived by several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, step-grandchildren, and step great-grandchildren.
