She was predeceased by: her parents, John Cook and Dora Cook; her husband Charles; her mother-in-law Rose Maiers; her siblings, Sabin (Lavina Cook), Delores (Dave Wertzberger), Louis (Mabel Cook), Helen (Ralph Hefel) and Francis (Marita Cook); her parents-in-law, Rosemary, John Lane and Jim Maiers; her nephews, Dennis Cook and Tom Lane; and her niece Carolyn Oberbroeckling.
She is survived by: her children, John (Sybil) of Atlanta, GA, Jane Gassmann (Stan) of Dubuque, Peggy Driscoll of Dubuque, JoAnn Hepner (Jay) of Cedar Rapids and Lynn Jaeger (Allen) of Waunakee, WI.; and her sister-in-law Mary Maiers of Dyersville, IA. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.
Memorial donations may be given to Bethany Home, Hospice of Dubuque, or the Alzheimer's Association.
