He is survived by: his mother Mary Katherine Thomas (Murray) of Glenwood, Iowa; his brothers, Steven Thomas and Eldon Thomas; his wife Peggy Thomas of St. Joseph, Missouri; his son Zachary Thomas of Glenwood, Iowa; his granddaughter Lona Thomas-Bilsten of Sioux City, Iowa; and his siblings, Lyn Thomas of Essex, Iowa, Cheryl Evans of Glenwood, Iowa, Sandra Wyszenski (Bill) of Glenwood, Iowa, Teresa Blum (Roger) of Griswold, Iowa and Aaron Dempsey (Peggy) of Glenwood, Iowa. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended relatives and friends.
