He was predeceased by: his parents, John Thomas and Della Forristal (Griffiths); his wife Celia A. McGuire; and his siblings, Rose Steineke, James Forristal, Mary Guinan and Kathy Sailors.
He is survived by: his brother-in-law Jim McGuire; his children, Matthew Forristal (Mary), Ann E. Forristal, Mary Brigid Seshasayee and John T. Forristal (Jennifer); his grandchildren, Bridget Ann Johnson, Nathan Garcia, Payton Garcia, John Forristal, Sarah Greteman, Genevieve Garcia, Emily Woodke, Matthew Forristal, Robert Forristal and Elizabeth Forristal; and his brother John T. Forristal. He is also survived by his 8 great grandchildren.
The family requests that in lieu of flowers any memorials be directed to Catholic Charities of Sioux City or the charity of your choice.
