He was predeceased by: his parents, J. Albion Yearous and Beulah Minnie Yearous (Foresman); his wife Merle Marie Huck; his siblings, Delmar Yearous and MaryLee Kerger; his siblings-in-law, Clarence Huck (MaryAnn), Margaret Anderson (Ivan) and Russell Mathews; his granddaughter Elizabeth; and his parents-in-law, Clarence and Irene Huck.
He is survived by: his children, Brad Yearous (Julie) of Galva, IA, Jackie Yearous of Holstein, IA and Gena Yearous of Balaton, MN; his grandchildren, Amy Schopperth (Nick) of Beaver Creek, OH, Jason Yearous (Megan) of Cedar Falls, IA, Mallory Bremer (Camron) of Carroll, IA, Kyle Yearous (Heather) of Hiawatha, IA, Lauren Yearous of Storm Lake, IA, Kate Hindes (Tristan) of Balaton, MN and Maggie Yearous of Balaton, MN; and his siblings-in-law, Virgina Yearous, Marjorie Mathews and Gene Kerger (Bud). He is also survived by 19 great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the Alzheimers Association or VA Community Care Network in Sioux Falls, SD.
