He is survived by: his children, Darrin (Lisa) of Holstein, IA, Tammy Wolverton (Todd) of Council Bluffs, IA, Marty (Renae) of Adel, IA and Barry (Kelly) of Lucas, TX; and his grandchildren, Jadyn Schmidt, Regan (Mitch Johnson), Jace Wolverton, Brodrick Schmidt, Kerilyn Schmidt, Torianna Schmidt, Eliza Schmidt, Megan Schmidt, Bryan Schmidt and Lindsay Schmidt.
