He was predeceased by: his parents, Vernon Farmer and Mildred Farmer (Spies); his wife Connie Jo Kirby; his sister Carol; and his brother-in-law Marlin Albright.
He is survived by: his sons, Bob (Shawn Petekavich) of Anthon, IA and Steve of Sioux Falls, SD; his grandchildren, Amber Krause of Anthon, IA, Megan Farmer of Jacksonville, FL, Cody Farmer of Huron, SD, Clay and Caden Farmer of Hartford, SD; and his great grandchildren, Kylah Krause, Kobe Krause and Kyndall Krause of Anthon, IA..
