He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Claeys and Wilma Claeys (Ericson); and his brothers, Jim, Bill and Larry Claeys.
He is survived by: his wife Karen; his daughters, Angela Schoenrock (Wade), Kerry Claeys (Lisa) and Amanda Brooks (Bill); his grandchildren, Marrisa Leander (Marcus), Mitchell Schoenrock (Ashley), Cody Schoenrock (Kelsey), Zachary, Paige Crawford, Haley and Dylan Brooks; his great grandchildren, Ethan, Landon, Austin Leander and Savannah Schoenrock; and his siblings, Pat Wolf (Ron), Phil Claeys and Don Claeys (Lisa). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
