He is survived by: his mother Constance "Connie" Ashley (Lewis) of Ames, IA; his son Sam Ashley of Correctionville, IA; his siblings, JoLynne Reimert of Anthon, IA and Tim Ashley (Terri "Tess") of Ames, IA; his nieces, Brittany Miller of Anthon, IA and Anna Acton (Russ) of Huxley, IA; his nephew Anthony Ashley of Moville, IA; and his great-nieces, Gaige Miller, Amelia and Elena Acton.
