With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Margaret Carroll of Hinton, Iowa, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 22, 2025 at the age of 98. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Milt Spies and Kathryn Spies (Rush); her husband Delmar Carroll; and her siblings, Lois Lang (Don), Joanne Richards (Don) and Dick Spies.
She is survived by: her sons, Michael Carroll (Maureen) of Le Mars and Dennis Carroll of Las Vegas, NV; her grandchildren, Chad Carroll (Kelly), Adam Carroll (Genevieve), Elizabeth Singer (Craig), Haley Carroll and Austin Carroll; her great grandchildren, Joey, Maggie, Michael, Brody, Levi, Ayden and Cooper; her great great grandchild Maliyah; and her sister-in-law Jeanette Spies. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 from 12:30 PM to 2:00 PM at the Hinton United Methodist Church (201 W Grand St, Hinton, IA 51024). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
