She was predeceased by: her parents, Milton Spies and Kathryn Spies (Rush); her husband Don Henry Richards; her siblings, Lois Lang and Dick; and her son-in-law Scott Handy.
She is survived by: her sister Peggy Carroll; and her children, Curtis Richards (Janet), Roxanne Handy (Carl) and Marti Huggenberger (Dennis). She is also survived by nine grandchildren, twenty-three great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 23rd 2024 from 12:30 PM to 2:00 PM at the United Methodist Church (201 W Grand St, Hinton, IA 51024).
