It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jan Heimgartner of Hinton, Iowa, who passed away on August 19, 2021, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Jan Heimgartner to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Jay Brouwer and Jill Brouwer (Galbrecht); and her parents-in-law, Elroy Heimgartner and Maycele Heimgartner. She is survived by: her husband Dennis Heimgartner of Hinton, Iowa; her children, Jeffrey Heimgartner (Jasmine) of Lincoln, Nebr. and Melissa Heimgartner (Chad Guzinski) of Ashland, Nebr.; her grandsons, Jayden and Jonah Heimgartner of Lincoln, Nebr.; and her sisters-in-law, Diane Hartman (Cal) of Council Bluffs, Iowa and Glenda Heimgartner of Le Mars, Iowa. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, grand-nieces and grand-nephews.
