He was predeceased by: his parents, Edwin Bollmeyer and Violetta Bollmeyer (Kasch); his wife Betty Bollmeyer; his brother Eldo Bollmeyer; his great grandchild Paige Weber; his fathers-in-law, Merlin Bock (Donna), Ronald Bock and Kenny Bock; and his nephews, Dean Bollmeyer and Doug Bock.
He is survived by: his son Dennis Bollmeyer (Judy) of Hinton; his granddaughter Crystal Jauer (Jeremiah); his great grandchildren, Bailiee, Sayler and Angie Goings (Cody); his daughter Cindy Kallsen (Bill) of Spirit Lake, IA; his grandson Chad Kallsen (Holly); his great grandchildren, Chase, Rylee and Tiffanie Young (David); his son Lance Bollmeyer (Rachel) of Hinton; his granddaughter Bridget Labahn (Billy); his great grandchildren, Brenna and Brooke Hegarty (David); his daughter Vickie Krapfl (Joe) of Hinton; his grandchild Thomas Wendt (Madison); his great grandchildren, Wyatt, Eva, Eddie, Brittnie Owens (Steve) and Alex Krapfl; his close friend Karen Bumann of Ida Grove, IA; his sisters-in-law, Midge Bollmeyer of Sloan, IA, Dorothy Bock of Le Mars, IA and Ladon Bock of Eau Claire, WI; and also, Owen, Kipton, Reese, Brandon Bollmeyer, Ashley Barkley (Zack), Pyper, Breana Bollmeyer, Brad, Shelbie, Katie Jensen (Eric), Liam, Emersyn, Ali Sheeks (Taylor), Anna, McKenzie, Bryce Miller (Kinley), Julianna, Jackson, Emerson, Brynlee, Kole Bossow, Bryce Klein, Collin Wientjes, Paige, Jayden, Charlie, Cherilynne and Lyndsey Wendt (Brandon). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Due to state and federal guidance on gatherings due to the COVID-19 pandemic, a private family graveside service will take place at Trinity Lutheran Cemetery, rural Hinton, Iowa.
