We are sad to announce that on September 30, 2024, at the age of 88, Esther Sitzmann (Hinton, Iowa) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, John Clarey and Esther Clarey (McCorkell); her husband Emmett Sitzmann; her children, Nancy and Joshua; her siblings, John Clarey (Nadine), Patricia Graham (Dwight), Rich Clarey, Paul Clarey (Carol), Ann DeRocher (Lee), Ray Clarey (Helen), Lu Beck (Dennis) and Donna Vondrak (Phil); and her sister-in-law Ginger Sitzmann.

She is survived by: her sister-in-law Jean Clarey of Cotati, CA.. She is also survived by 35 grandchildren; 33 great-grandchildren; and more than 400 nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Carmelites or Gospel Mission.
