He was predeceased by: his wife Doris; his children, Craig Muecke and Linda Chesher; his great grandchild Ashley Chinana; his siblings, Shirley Papenhausen (Leonard), Luella Stabe (Ralph) and Merlin "Bud" Muecke (Loretta); and his siblings-in-law, Shirley Roehrich (George), Mildred Paul (Charles), John Meier (Pat) and Darrell Krause.
He is survived by: his children, Lori of Angora, MN and Scott Muecke (Tina) of Hancock, IA; his grandchildren, Lisa Chesher, Jennifer Kober (Shawn), Julie Howard, Melissa Hawk, David Hawk (Kate), Tricia Colsden (Chris), Billy Wilke, Amber Wilke, Zach Petersen and Corey Petersen; his siblings-in-law, Phyllis Krause of Le Mars and Lester H. "Bud" Holt Jr (Virginia); and also Otter Tail. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
